Corporate Retreat Camping
Camping is not just for Boy and Girl Scouts and cowboys and individuals who don’t want to dress up. Just because people don’t fit into one or more of those categories doesn’t mean they can’t enjoy the right camping experience. Our corporate clients recognize that two or three days of unplugging in Yosemite National Park re-energizes and refocuses employees.
We’re not talking glamping. You won’t always find hand-carved beds, 1,500 thread-count sheets or a hydrotherapy spa tub with our corporate retreats. What you will find is a group who feel a deep appreciation of the natural wonder of the park and the way it reaches the heart and soul.
Teddy Roosevelt knew the immeasurable value of Yosemite after visiting the area with naturalist John Muir in 1903. In fact, that three-day visit to Yosemite inspired the President to recognize five national parks as well as a number of national forests, monuments, bird sanctuaries and wildlife refuges. Like Roosevelt, visitors to Yosemite can feast on Bridalveil Fall, the giant sequoias, Sentinel Dome and other popular spots and also experience the less-traveled backcountry trails.
Are you looking to reward employees for a job well done or introduce potential hires to the wondrous park in our backyard? Can you think of a better way to bond workers than swapping tales around a campfire after a day of gazing upon some of the most beautiful scenery in the world? Camping in the wilderness takes teamwork, a concept we focus on during our corporate retreats.
We supply all the camping and cooking gear—including tents—and offer an orientation to ensure campers wear the proper attire, especially a hat and the correct, comfortable shoes, and bring the necessary items, such as sunblock and mosquito repellent. We can customize any retreat based on the needs and goals of our corporate clients and the capabilities of our participants. Visiting Yosemite on a private, guided tour might be roughing it, but in the most magnificent, enriching way.
